The results of study of interrelation of structural elements of MSW oscillator with its performance are presented. The dependence of operating band versus the length of a line in a ring of a feedback of the oscillator is shown. It has been proved that the operating band, the phase drop and the slope of a phase characteristic in the area of MSW filter remain practically constant in the process of frequency re-tuning of the filter. The requirements of MSW filter in the feedback loop of the oscillator have been defined. The substantial influence of phase relationship in the feedback loop on maximum possible band of re-tuning of the oscillator has been submitted.
