A 'Standard' Smart Phone—a Study of Smart Phone' Performance From the view of mobile HCI

To some extent currently, literatures characterizing the hardware performance parameters of smart phone stay at the level of qualitative analysis. In this paper we propose a "standard" smart phone both at the qualitative and quantitative level by using the revised value of parameters, such as mean and mode, which are based on the analysis of smart phone hardware parameter information database. The "standard" smart phone characterizes the general performance of smart phone and provides a reference of hardware specifications to relevant people, such as developers and researchers. We have paid much effort in doing statistics and analysis work so as to identify some indicative hardware parameters which have a great effect on research, design and development based on mobile devices. Furthermore, we analyze the characteristics of these parameters and examine the extent of their alteration over time.
