As the pace of urbanization is becoming more and more quickly, the construction of urban culture has been put forward with it. Wuhan, as the thoroughfare of nine provinces, accounts the advantageous geographical position. In addition, the city has been built for a very long history. However, little attention has been paid to the construction of the culture of the city from its birth. The city is gradually losing the functions of preserving its own culture, as well as the functions of handing its culture down from generations to generations. Moreover, Wuhan is as well gradually losing the unique culture environment of the city that it should own itself. All of these are linked tight with the publicity and construction of the urban culture by the media. This paper hopes to be able to do the first exploration on an effective and efficient dissemination way for the urban culture. In this way, it will make the urbanization pave the way for the dissemination of the urban culture as well as make the dissemination of the urban culture act as the supplement and enrichment of the process of the materialized urbanization.
