Comparison and Analysis of Routing Protocols in Wireless Mesh Networks

摘要

Recently, a new wireless broadband access network, Wireless Mesh Networks (WMN), has been proposed. Since the wireless routing protocols play an important role in performance optimization of WMN, this paper focuses on Ad hoc On-demand Distance Vector (AODV) routing protocol and Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR) protocol in WMN. By simulation and analysis, this paper shows that AODV based on purpose-driven is suitable for wireless transmission with rapid change of network topology, while OLSR based on link state is efficient in the network with large density and high real time.
