This paper presents an energy saving evaluating system of air conditioning in the light of attribute reduction algorithm based on disccrnibility function. In order to improve the efficiency and veracity of evaluating system for air conditioning. Rough Set theory is adopted to find the main facts in energysaving elements. According to the original parameters of air conditioning, the decision table of energy saving evaluating system is built using the method of clustering and quantifying. By attribute reduction algorithm based on discernibility function, the core and reduction of decision table are found as well as the decision rules are produced. Using these rules, the energy-saving rank for evaluating air conditioning can be obtained. From the evaluation of the collected samples, it is proved that the evaluating result is reasonable and feasible in practical system.
