The 3D model of Shaper Mechanism is constructed by SolidWorks, and then it is imported the multi-body dynamics simulation software ADAMS in order to analyze the characteristic of the kinematics and dynamics simulation. Through the simulation analysis, many characteristic of shaper planer knives can be obtained such as the displacement, velocity, acceleration, resistance torque, power resistance changes curves to follow time and even intuitively shaper work process. These will provide the theory basis to determining structure design parameters of further shaper organization. This method could make the designers attain system performance before the physical prototype was built. Meanwhile, it can also improve and optimize the design scheme conveniently. As a result, it greatly improves the research efficiency, shortens product development cycle and saves time-cost.
