Analysis of the Relationship between China's Log Imports and Disaster of Forest Pests

摘要

We analyzed the relationship between China's Log imports and Disaster of Forest Pests empirically by cointegration theory and Granger causality test. The research shows that there is long-term and stable balance relationship between China's Log imports and Disaster of Forest Pests, in which one-way Granger causality exists and it can rebanlance by 35% if unbanlanced in short term. Accordingly, this paper concludes that it is impossible for China's Log imports policies. we try to put forward proposals to achieve sustainable development of China's forest industry by controlling Disaster of Forest Pests.
