Grass-roots civil servant examination system plays a very important role in the civil servant management in our country. But there still exists many problems in the actual implementation process of our grass-roots civil servant examination system. This article is mainly from the awareness, main body, criteria, method and procedures, etc. of the examination to explore the main reasons that lead to the results distortion and relatively poor effectiveness, and then put forward that the main body should be clear, assessment criteria should be scientific, assessment procedures should be objective, and the method should be modern, so that the grass-roots civil servant examination system can be more effective and more scientific.
