摘要

With the rapid development of industry, transportation and urban, lifeline engineering will grow more and more important. Even if only a part of the infrastructures are damaged, the urban community can sustain serious damage and functional disruption. However many lifeline network systems in Chinese cities have not been passed through normal aseismic design. So it is important to study the aseismic of buried pipelines. Variational principle is theoretical foundation of finite element method and other approximate methods. In the paper, Hamilton-type quasi-variational principle of buried pipelines dynamics is established by variational integral method, which offer calculating model of finite element method for buried pipelines dynamics problems.
