With the crank-slider mechanism, applied the principle of Cutting the screw thread(CST) to the low rear protective device of truck, devised a new type of device which supplied a new solution for the crash incompatibility. Firstly, according to the dimension of certain type of Foton light-duty truck and the requirement of regulation, took the maximum transmission angle as optimized object, with the programming solution in Excel, obtained the length of crank-slider mechanism. Secondly, with the 3D modeling in Solidworks, obtained the 3D model, and eliminated the interference through its motion simulation module, which proved the device is feasible.
