The paper presents the results of the researches on the service behaviour of the precast centrifuged hollow reinforced concrete elements (columns, beams and supports) for sustaining of electrical equipments in the electric transformer stations of 110...400 kV, after 30-40 years of service, in respect of the damages induced by the corrosive action of aggressive agents. The corrosion-induced damages have been favoured/increased by existence of initial execution malfunctions, deteriorations appeared during the storage, transport and montage of the elements and by absence of efficient intervention measures and anti-corrosion protection of these elements. There were pointed out the corrosive action effects of the aggressive agents on the centrifuged reinforced concrete elements in the electric transformer stations placed both in aggressive environments in power and chemical industries, as well as in electrical network urban units specific aggressive environments. Colour photos illustrate the characteristic aspects on corrosion state of investigated elements. Based on the results of the investigations and experiments performed on site and in laboratory, there were proposed intervention measures on reinforced concrete elements, differentiated by the nature and intensity of the corrosion damages, as well by the aggressivity degree of environments, in order to assure the resistance, stability and durability of elements/structures and the normal conditions of service of electric transformer stations.
