By calculating the urban transport network radius dimension example, found radius dimension only can estimate the network the spatial shape, cannot estimate the network the effective transportation total quantity.The radius dimension measure can create the non-central node fractal dimension value to be high, losing its authenticity and comparability. This article had carried on the revision to the radius dimension, took the weight with each node road effective length coefficient, carries on to the radius dimension for re calibration, with the weight to have a fractal dimension. Weighted fractal dimension is not only a reflection of the urban transport network distribution patterns also reflect each node in the network waffle true role and status. Through it allows different nodes have comparability. The Nanjing city transport network with the weighted fractal dimension calculation and analysis confirmed this point.
