摘要

The initial rotor position estimation for a surface mountedpermanent magnet synchronous motor(SPMSM) is an essential partof the SPMSM sensorless control system. Its accuracy directlydetermines whether the motor could be stated-up successfully. In thisregard, a novel method is proposed. Using fluctuating high frequencyinjection, the estimated angle can be gotten through closed-loopregulation. Based on the characteristics of time constant belonging tothe direct-axis equivalent circuit, polarity determination can beachieved .The simulation investigation and experimental results showthat the method is correct.
