Combined Bioremediation of Atrazine Contaminated Soil by Two Atrazine Degrading Strains and Grass

This paper is a pilot study on the effect of grass- microorganism combined bioremediation of atrazine contaminated soil. Sorghum hybird sudangrass and ryegrass were selected as two repair grass, and immobilized degrading strain J2 was added into the soil under the indoor pot conditions. When the concentration of atrazine was 20 mg/kg in the soil, grass-microorganism combined bioremediation enjoyed the best result, for the atrazine degradation rate is relatively high. The results showed that among the processing of all cultivation of grass, rhizosphere soil removal of atrazine was higher than the control group, in which ryegrass and inoculation treatment of strain J6 possessed the highest removal rate of atrazine (reaching 98.8 %). The grass more suitable for degradation of bacteria was ryegrass, followed by sorghum hybird sudangrass.
