摘要

Diffraction-enhanced imaging (DEI) is a synchrotron based imaging technique, which generates high spatial resolution and contrast of both calcified and soft tissues. This technique not only provides the visualization of absorption information like conventional X-ray imaging, but also refraction and scattering properties. Multiple image radiography (MIR) is an effective way to extract theses information. In this study, the capability of DEI to observe different types of tissues is investigated. MIR is used to extract information from a series of DEI images. Images with different features such as absorption, refraction and ultra-small angle scattering are derived. The color composite image, representing the sum of these three different parameters, is further evaluated, which conveys the presence of multiple biological structural features.
