Simulation verification for the lifting of the overhead crane

摘要

Overhead crane flip and lift by controlling the height of the main hook and the vice hook. The whole process involves in nine objects, such as crane carriage, crane girder, main hook, vice hook, etc. In order to analyze the movement state of each device in the lifting process, this paper design and realize a simulation system, which is based on the virtual simulation platform—quest3D. This system adopts the cascade control method to achieve the linkage among number of devices, and thus supports the real-time simulation by physical stress analysis combined with Matlab computing. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of design of the overhead crane.
