The use of RC bands and RC vertical posts enhanced the loadcarrying capacity of the rammed earth building, with the baseshear value exceeding the recommended value for theunreinforced building by the IS1893. The proposed strengtheningtechnique during the construction process did not affect theramming process; thus, they are feasible, and it is recommendedfor the new construction of rammed earth buildings.
