Visualization module of Vijjana, a Pragmatic Model for Collaborative, Self-organizing, Domain Centric Knowledge Networks

摘要

This research reports visualization experiments performed to support the Vijjana, a collaborative, self-organizing, domain centric knowledge network project developed to assist different users with different interest in web activities. The Vijjana knowledge network database source is mainly the Open Directory Project that provided semantically associated data, which is organized based on data interrelationships, and then Prefuse toolkit were used to visualize the semantic associations. Radial graph views and tree views are experimented with java and XML. This helped in analyzing existing cognitive supports in between different Vijjana users.
