ULTRA-FAST VITRIFICATION OF MURINE EMBRYONIC STEM CELLS USING A LOW CONCENTRATION OF CRYOPROTECTANTS

摘要

The results from this study indicate that using a quartz microcapillary, ultra-fast vitrification can be achieved at a very low concentration of intracellular cryoprotcctants. This new cryopreservation technique is shown to be viable and effective for murine embryonic stem cells and potentially other mammalian cells.
