摘要

JAXA has been applying the project management method which was originally developed by U.S. in the development of unmanned space systems. However, project management for International Space Station (ISS) is more complicated than that of unmanned space systems because of its characteristics such as huge scale and heavy weight, long-term stay by astronauts, long development schedule (more than 20 years) and coordination/cooperation with multilateral international partners. This paper focuses on the project management technique for complex manned space systems which was acquired in the development of KIBO.
