摘要

Reactive powder concrete (RPC) is an ultra-high strength cement-based material. Cementand silica fume (SF) content of RPC are generally rather high compared to conventionalconcrete. The aim of this study is to decrease the cement content of RPC by using industrialwaste powder. RPC containing ultra-fine fly ash (UFA) and steel slag powder (SS) wasprepared by substitution of ground fine quartz sand with natural fine aggregates. Themechanical properties and chloride ion permeability of specimens, cured in two differentkinds of conditions, were tested. The experimental results show that the mechanical propertiesof RPC with the substitution of 18% SS, 12% UFA and 15% SF are better than those of theothers. Its compressive and flexural strength achieved more than 162 MPa and 36 MParespectively and its chloride ion permeability is low.
