To clarify the effect of environment temperature on the ultrasonic wave testing, theultrasonic velocity in ordinary Portland cement concrete (OPC) and high pertormanceconcrete (HPC) were researched under temperature of-10~C up to 30°C. Results showed thatthe effect of temperature on ultrasonic velocity could not neglected in OPC, especially at lowtemperature. The influence of temperature on ultrasonic wave velocity to the size effect ofsamples could be ignored. The variation of ultrasonic wave velocity with temperature in C30concrete is consistent to C40 and C50 concrete. On base of this, the temperature correctioncoefficient of ultrasonic wave velocity in concrete was deduced. On the contrary, theenvironment temperature had slight effect on the ultrasonic wave velocity in HPC.
