Borescope Detection of Damage of Blade in Aeroengine Based on Image Recognition Technology

摘要

Aiming at the problem that the damage of blade in aeroengine detected using borescope inspection is recognized artificially, an approach based on image recognition technology for damage automatic estimation of blade is proposed in this paper. This approach applies digital image processing technique to segment the damage area from the images of borescope inspection, then extracts their characteristics to form a characteristic vector and consequently inputted into a supported vector machine (SVM) to classify damage types. The experimental results have shown that this approach is effective in automatic recognizing the damage of blade in areoengine.
