@@It has been shown that, there are many kind of mushroom, and every mushroom contains a large quantity of protein consisted from various kinds of(+)-amino-acids and (-)-amino-acids.In our previous papers, it has been found that different kinds of mushroom could resolute the racemic alcohols to give corresponding optical isomers conveniently in high optical yields.Recently, racemic 3-chloro-1,2-propanediol has been found to be resolute to give (+) isomer with a mushroom, pleurolus eryngii (P E), and to give (-) isomer with another mushroom, agaricus bisporus (A B).
