Reviewed four ways,IIIinimum zone,minimum circumcircle,maximum inner-circle,and maximum least square,for the measurement of the coaxiality,presented the genetic algorithm with the function of adaptation.By projecfion of the coordinates of the measured surfaces of the cyHnder,the coaxiality errors test is turned into the determination of the center of the contour on the section perpendicular to the axis of the cylinder,then the coaxiairy is calculated with a series of transforming formulae through operations of selection,hybrid,and alteration.This method put forward may be applied for the workshop with ease,ready in execution on computer at great speed,and with high accuracy.
