摘要

The large amount of bad assets which consisted in China's state-owned commercial banks is the potential inducement that forms China's financial risk.To deal with the substantive bad assets of the four state-owned commercial banks,the China's State Council approved in 1999 the establishment of Huarong,Great Wall,Orient and Cinda as state-owned non-bank financial institutions — the Asset Management Companies (AMC).But the life cycle of the four AMC is shortening as they accelerate their progress of disposing bad assets.As a result,their transition roads and development prospects increasingly become the focus of people's attention.About the transformation roads and the prospects of the AMC,Theoretical and practical workers have various views,and the author believes that this issue should be analyzed from various aspects.
