The identifications and biogenetic route studies are major tasks in natural chemistry. With the developments of separation materials, and the technique of X-ray and 2D NMR, more and more novel complex compounds have been found and reported. However, a new difficulty appeared, namely, the identifications of some complex compounds, especially stereogenic centers, become a big challenge in phytochemistry when these compounds cannot form crystals, biogenetic route study for these is also a big project in this area. One example is listed below.
