MODERN EXTENSIONS IN TRADITIONAL HOUSES Case of Bokeo and Luangprabang Provinces of Lao PDR

In summary, based on our analysis, this study found the following results: 1. The extension type of houses in Bokeo and Luangprabang are different. 2. Almost all the houses undertaking extensions of two or more sections used modem materials. 3. The extension of the kitchen in BKO is a side extension, while the extension of the kitchen in LPR and LPP are rear extensions.
