BASIC STUDY ON HOME ENVIRONMENT OF PERUVIAN IMMIGRANTS: Part 1 HOME ENVIRONMENT AND ADAPTATION PROCESS OF PERUVIAN IMMIGRANTS OF JAPANESE DESCENT IN JAPAN

No matter how many difficulties this recent immigrants will have to face as the majority of their ancestors did in Latin America many of them will resettle definitely in Japan. They are gradually developing unbreakable bonds with the host country. The adaptation process to the new environment has already started and it is in its primary stage. Even though, the ir uncertainty about the future and high mobility patterns are making slower the adjustment, they do not make final arrangements always thinking it could make difficult the next time they have to move or have to return to home country. And additionally to the unwelcome environment they face in Japan the mistrust environment among Peruvians themselves; is not helping to build a sense of community among them. So far they attribute satisfaction only of basic functional values to their dwellings and all those values that make a house a home are very far from being fulfilled.
