HABITAT EVALUATION FOR ECOSYSTEM IN IRIOMOTE ISLAND WITH SATELLITE DATA

摘要

The ecomanagement requires monitoring widely and frequently. This study was to evaluate the habitat of Iriomote cat and coral with remote sensing and GIS in Iriomote Island, Okinawa prefecture. Iriomote cat habitats were estimated with HSI model, moreover coral reef map was made by the Bottom Index algorithm. These results agreed with sighting reports. Consequently, they helped monitoring and protection in Iriomote Island's ecology.
