Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS), a Japanese satellite navigation system, is a constellation consisted of severalsatellites in elliptical and inclined orbits in different orbital planes. JAXA have been developing a first satellite ofQuasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZS-1). In this paper, we describe the system design for the QZS-1.
