Knowledge System of an Intelligent Decision Support System for Road Constructing Machinery Groups

摘要

This paper developed a knowledge system for realtime scheduling machinery groups in road construction, combining techniques of expert system and relational database. The system was expected to provide sufficient expert knowledge and make decision by reasoning. It is composed of dynamic database, model base, knowledge rule base and reasoning mechanism. In the paper, authors explain how to deal with the great numbers of knowledge and store them in relational database and how to use the knowledge in database to carry out reasoning. This system has been applied in the scheduling of machinery groups in an intelligent decision support system for highway construction. The results show that the system can make decision fleetly and guarantee the continuity in constructing, the labour cost was efficiently saved and constructing efficiency was greatly improved.
