Summary form only given. A dielectric Cerenkov maser amplifier issimulated with XOOPIC and results are compared to experiment and theory. The device examined is azimuthally symmetric with a circular crosssection. A magnetically confined annular electron beam at 79 keV and 7 Ainteracts with the slow wave structure to produce the radiation. Theouter guide radius is 6.25 cm, with a 2.19 cm thick smooth dielectricliner of permittivity ετ=4.2. The applied magneticfield is 0.1 T. These parameters are very close to a series ofexperiments at Dartmouth (Von Laven, 1982), which demonstrated outputpowers in the range of 300-100 kW at 10-50 GHz with 10% efficiency whenoperating in the TM01 mode. The dispersion has been obtainedand agrees well with the experiment. The efficiency, power, and gainwill be compared for the parameters of the Dartmouth experiment
