摘要

Gutianxi hydroelectric power station, which comprises four hydroplants joining up in series, began in 1951. The installed capacity of the first stage of power stations is not enough. The true output of the second stage can't fulfil the request of its nameplate. The normal water level of the third stage can't fulfil requests of design. And tailwater level of the third and forth stages are both on the high side. In order to solve these problems, this paper discusses the importance, necessity and feasibility of systematic renovation, and evaluates its benefits.
