Environmental studies and their effects on watersheds gives some key results for storing of surface and subsurface water from rainfall. These studies are conducted on Peddapendyal Watersheds - Ⅰ, Ⅱ and Ⅲ. The location of watersheds lies between longitudes 79° 22′ 30″ - 79° 25′ 0″ and latitudes 18° 57′ 30″ - 18° 55′ 0″ falling in survey of India Toposheet No. 56 0/5/NE & 56 0/5/NW in Dharmasagar Mandal, Warangal dist., A.P.India. The digital data of IRS - 1C satellite together with the toposheet and rainfall, temprature,, wind velocity, sunshine hours per day, evaporation mm per day, and relative humidity data of the study area used for analysis. With the using local topographical postions predominantly guided the location of these structures in the wasting area by Remote Sensing Techniques. For observing the environmental changes in twelve observation wells, 2 check dams, 1 percolation tank were chosen in the watershed and water levels I these wells were analysed. Calculations of Runoff, losses due to evaporation are evaluated in the study area. Forestry, Nursery rising growing of plantations with using the relative humidity and from nearly available water from the surrounding areas are studied for estimate the environmental variations o these watersheds. Finally conclude that for conservation of natural resources like water, land and vegetation that will mitigate the adverse affects of unemployment and drought conditions.
