Properties and Improvements of Flow in Steam Turbine Exhaust Hood

摘要

This contribution contains the summary of knowledge of diffuser flows which are in exhaust hoods of blade machines. Its origin is in the series of experimental works but first of all in numerical calculations made at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, especially with the assistance of the plant SKODA Energo s.r.o. in Pilsen and with the support of the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic, the project number 101/01/0449.
