The Clinical Treatment of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine In 64 Cases of Anovular Infertility

Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment in 64 cases of anovulatory infertility Methods: A total of 114 cases attended the Gynecological outpatient's department. Each one underwent the examination of tubal patency test diagnostic uterine curettage, antibody determination of immuno -infertility. The reasons of fallopian tube and immuno-infertility were excluded. The test of semen was normal, the anovulatory infertility was diagnosed, (corpus luteum insufficiency was included) these cases were divided into two groups at random: Traditional Chinese-Western Medicine group (treated group) and Western Medicine group (control group). The herbs (omitted below) of regulating menstruation and aiding pregnancy were administered in treated group, meanwhile Clomiphene was used. While in control group: only Clomiphene was taken, the usage of it was as same as treated group's, then observing the development of follicles, formation of dominant follicles and ovulation under ultrasound, the examination of BBT and cervical mucous crystals also be done. Results: In 64 cases of treated group: 54 cases were cured. Of these 40 cases got pregnancy 12 cases were anovulatory, total effective rate was 81.25%; In 50 cases of control group: 30 cases were cured. Of these 24 cases got pregnancy; 20 cases were anovulatory, total effective rate was 60 %. In two groups, comparation of effective rate was significantly different(p<0.05). Discussion: The Kidney promotes to save essence of life, it is essential to reproduction; Harmonious vital energy and blood of Chong channel and Ren channel were the factor of ovulation; Growth and decline of Yin and Yang, transformation between Yin and Yang of kidney were the key problem of this disease. The herbs of regulating menstruation, aiding pregnancy, promoting ovulation were used to invigorate kidney and enrich Yang energy, to nourish kidney and Yin energy. This makes Yin and Yang of kidney in unity of opposites, being interdependent, in transformation each other, stimulating hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis. Meanwhile Clomiphene was administered for promoting the development and mature of follicles. In 64 cases, deficiency of kidney mixed with stagnation of liver-qi was the main case. So relieving stagnation of liver-qi, invigorating kidney were the main therapy. Enriching essence of life of kidney, then the essence of life transforms into Yang energy. The more Yang energy is, the richer Yin energy is. Thus the therapy of regulating menstruation, aiding pregnancy, and promoting ovulation was successful.
