MONOLITHIC ROOFS FOR UHP FURNACE

摘要

Monolithic roofs were studied and a series of roofs with different systems were designed according to the volume and operation condition of the furnaces. With advanced matrix system, the developed monolithic roofs have excellent thermal shock resistance and corrosion resistance. Industrial applications showed that the monolithic roofs have excellent service life. The effects of the aggregates, matrixes and bonding systems on the hot strength, thermal shock resistance and corrosion resistance were studied, and the effects of the operation condition and manufacturing process on the service life were also discussed.
