The U-bend tube of steam Generator of PWR type nuclear power plane is an important structure even on seismic induced and fluid induced vibration porblems. The tubes are selfstanding, but they are contacted to the bars called 'Anti-Vibration-Bar (AVB)' to keep their shape as a tube -bundle. This paper deals with the verification on vibration-characteristics of the tube-bundle during the seismic event. The full scale model of the U-bend part and the following one span of the straight part of tube bundle is tested to obtain their vibration characteristics, mainly damping values. Their material is ordinary stainless steel. The test level for excitation was S2-level design basis earthquake around 3G.
