Experiimental Study of Fracture by Water Blasting on a True - Triaxial Apparatus

It is studied in a true-triaxial test of fracture by water blasting that initiating and propagating laws of cracks are influenced by stress condition, water pressure and fracturing liquid. A conclusion that some characteristics exhibiting in the process of the fracture are different from those from other experimental techniques has been reached. A more detailed understanding of fracturing mechanism by water blasting will be important in practical fracture by water blasting.
