A brief overview of Chinese design code on fossil-fueled power plants

The Chinese Design Code on Fossil Fueled Power Plants (DL 5000-94) was issued in April 1994 by the Ministry of Electric Power Industry, P.R. China, and the English version has bene drafted and will be formally published in the near future. Based on the 1984 version was formed to meet the fchallenges of the nation's speedy development of electric power construction. In general, the code is primarily a directive document guiding the planning and engineering of China's large- and medium-sized fossil-fueled power plants.
