Numerical codes for multiple scattering in the atmosphere

Abstract: The features of a code for calculation of lidar returns from clouds are recalled. Some laboratory measurements on models showed the validity of the code with regard to polarization of received power. Reference is also made to a code for calculations of turbidity effects on optical systems. !8
