Map-based medical practice behavior analysis: Methodology and a case study on Australia's medical practices

摘要

This paper constructs an integrated system for analyzing the behaviors of Australia's medical practices, in which 1) weblog mining techniques are developed to retrieve and identify the communities of medical practices and their behavior patterns; 2) concentrating on specific diseases, text analytics are used to profile the research hotspots of specific diseases from external medical databases; and 3) visualization techniques are then involved in presenting identified intelligence in an interpretable way and detecting the potential trends of specific diseases in Australian regions. This study provides significance to support decision-making in healthcare-related government and industry sectors.
