The modern power system is constantly upgrading, so the operational mechanism and physical phenomena are more complicated. As a result, the study on safe and stable operation of power grid gradually becomes a hotspot and emphasis. Accompanying with the continuous development of power grid in China and startup of the smart grid plan, loads are rapidly increasing. Moreover, the scale of power system is continuing expanding. The network structure become more complicated. Moreover, potential risks of grid operation are more and more and become non-negligible. Based on the operational features of power grid, the author constructs the operational risk control system of visualized power grid that face the actual demands of the dispatching operational department, uses 3D real-time rendering technology to visualize and reveal the operational risk control of power grid, assists dispatching operating personnel to predict perception and manage operational risks of power grid, and provides a reference for smart grid development.
