The gap between train doors and PSD of subway station platform is prone to the phenomenon of pinching the object. If it is not discovered and processed in time, it will lead to operational safety accidents. In this paper, a robust detection system for foreign bodies in the gap between PSD and screen doors is proposed to overcome the shortcomings of the current detection algorithm for foreign bodies in the gap, such as poor robustness to light, clothing color and so on. The system reduces the blind area of detection by fusing the data of ranging and weighing. At the same time, in order to reduce data confusion caused by centralized data processing, the system uses a single sliding door as the detection unit, each detection unit processes independently, and then transmits the result to the display terminal to assist the driver to perform security check.
