WEB USAGE MINING-A Study of Web data pattern detecting methodologies and its applications in Data Mining

As we know that net one of the most appropriate technology to share and collect information and the utilization of net is raising every day. Computers are a repository of knowledge that contains huge amount of information; web mining i.e one of the operations of data mining process that utilized for finding information and knowledge present in the Web data. The information is gathered from the server, client, proxy server or database in Web mining. Classification of Web mining methods: web content mining, web structure mining and web usage mining. This paper provides general idea of web minings its types. Our review paper mainly focus on the web usage mining and methods utilize in it. Also it gives a review on the application of web usage mining.
