摘要

The Fe oxidation state of appropriate mineral phases in rocks is an important indicator of the oxygen fugacity during mineral formation. Specifically, the in situ speciation of Fe on the microscale is relevant for many applications in Earth Sciences, since the crystal size of natural minerals is generally small and commonly very small in experimental high-pressure run products with 10-15 μm. It further provides the opportunity to analyse zoned crystals.
