摘要

A broadband electromagnetic beam-splitting metasurface is designed and presented in this paper. This metasurface is composed of two metallic E-shaped patches modeled on FR4 dielectric substrate. The electromagnetic wave when normally incident on the proposed metasurface, it is split into two waves; half of the energy is reflected and the other half is transmitted. Owing to asymmetric nature of the metasurface along x and y-axis, the beam splitting is achieved at 13 GHz for x and at 8 GHz for y polarized wave.
