Designing of a Network Infrastructure to Promote Active Participation of Youth in Local Community Revitalization

The collapse of the local community makes communication between the government and citizens difficult. In particular, opportunities for human resources in adolescence and later to participate in local communities that has functioned as places of lifelong learning are diminishing, and various educational opportunities are being lost. In order to revitalize the local community, we propose a flexible and decentralized community-based implementation function and management method that makes it easy for people in youth to participate. In this study, we conducted a trial and social experiment on 13 students and local community participants using the web platform to examine the plans of regional community event. As a result, we could be confirmed our proposed platform was effective in enhancing the sense of satisfaction and contribution of the members.
