The notion of maximal M-fuzzy filter of a skew lattice is introduced and some examples and properties are given. Next, the least M-fuzzy filter induced by an M-fuzzy set of a skew lattice in given and using it some characterizations of maximal M-fuzzy filters are obtained. Finally, we prove that any maximal M-fuzzy filter of a skew lattice is two-valued.
